Welcome to Youngtown Little Athletics Club

We are one of the founding members of the South Launceston Centre and have maintained strong working relationships with both Youngtown and Punchbowl Primary Schools over the years. A large proportion of our athletes derive from these schools, however we do have athletes who attend other schools in the area.

We have an energetic committee that subscribe to the Little Athletics motto of Family, Fun & Fitness providing a friendly and relaxed environment for our children to compete. Our commitment is to provide an environment for our children to stay fit and healthy whilst making lifelong friends and having fun in the process.

Note: All new athletes will need to show proof of their date of birth before they can compete (birth certificate, blue book, passport).

Training

Club training is held every Wednesday at the South Launceston Football ground at 5:00pm till 6:00pm in conjunction with Glen Dhu Little Athletics Club.

Our trainings are aimed at teaching the children the correct techniques for all aspects of Little Athletics. We also are helped by the parents who have knowledge in particular events.

We always try to train for the weeks upcoming events.

Club Uniform

Our club uniform consists of red shorts and a red and white top. Tops can be purchased from a committee member and are $35.
