Centre Championships

SLLAC have two championships in which our athletes run, jump and throw for medals.

South Launceston Little Athletics Centre (SLLAC) conducts two types of Championships open to all athletes:

  • 1 x Multi Event Championship
  • 3 x  Program Championships (Program 1, 2 and 3).

To be eligible for Centre Championships, athletes must:

  • be registered with the South Launceston Little Athletics Centre (SLLAC)
  • have competed in 25 events at SLLAC (TLAA or other events held at St Leonards are excluded)
  • wear the correct club uniform. In 2022, the Centre uniform is permitted.
  • have the 25 Participation Badge (or greater) displayed as per the TLAA Badge Placement Guide.

Exemption requests for Championships need to be submitted in writing via email to the SLLAC Executive at least one week prior to the applicable Championship. The request needs to specify the reason(s) for the request. A decision on athlete participation will be at the discretion of the SLLAC Executive.
